Just watched Red State again. I really enjoy this movie. It seems that a lot of people really hated it but I think it was a cool change for Kevin Smith. I also thought he handled it well. The movie had a great flow and was unpredictable. Characters that I thought wouldn’t die did. At the ending I had no idea what to expect. Was it going to get supernatural or was he going to play it straight? The choice he made was not disappointing. I also really enjoyed all John Goodman’s dialogue in it.

So earlier today I really wanted to find the official video for Dead Cities. It is not in iTunes or You Tube. I did a google search as well with no luck. I did find this site though where FSOL are selling digital and physical copies of new and rare things they have been working on. It is also the first I heard of them working under a different name as well. I have not had the time to really jump into all of it yet but I hope to soon. Still no luck finding that video however.
While looking for a link to an old cassette comp I came across this cool blog about Burst Of Silence. It is really good and includes a link to their discography. I think I was at a couple of the earlier out of town shows mentioned on here as we use to follow them around a lot at the time. Seriously a really cool band and very cool dudes. Read and download.
